Help a neighbor keep the lights on.

When a paycheck falls a little short, one bill can snowball into a shutoff or a late fee. KindDeed will bring donors and partners together in a shared fund, and let them vote on which verified bills to help next.

How it will work

  1. A neighbor shares a bill

Someone who’s short on an essential bill sends it in, along with what they need and when it’s due.

  2. We check that it’s real

A person reviews each bill before it goes live. Names, addresses and account numbers stay private.

  3. Donors give and vote

Give any amount to the fund, browse the directory of verified bills, and swipe to vote on which ones should be approved.

  4. The biller gets paid

KindDeed makes the final approval, using the votes as a guide. Money goes straight to the utility or provider, never to an individual as cash.
